生体試料センターでは、主として手術患者を対象として、臨床残余検体をゲノム解析研究を含む研究に利用する包括的な同意の取得（IC）と、治療開始前の研究用採血、PBMからのゲノムDNA抽出、外科切除検体の採取・凍結保存、及びこれらの試料の保管・管理、及び、共同研究をベースとした、神奈川県立がんセンター内、或いは外部施設での研究利用のコーディネートを行っている。また、包括同意のもと、病理診断科が保管・管理するホルマリン固定パラフィン包埋（FFPE）組織、臨床検査部が保管・管理する耐性菌株などの試料・資源の研究利用、第三者への提供が可能である。
/Kanagawa Cancer Center Biobank collects mainly resected surgical tumor tissues through comprehensive informed-consent with patients. KCC also collects blood samples before initial therapy and gDNA by PBM technology. KCC offers biospecimen and associated data on the basis of joint research contract. Under the certain terms and conditions, FFPE samples will be available from pathological department and resistant strain from clinical laboratory department.
